Introduction

Many dynamical systems can be considered as Lorenz-like systems, that is, as producing chaotic attractors topologically equivalent to the solutions produced by governing equations that have the same structure as the Lorenz system. For all the systems described in this section, two different attractors will be shown when identified : one is topologically equivalent to the Lorenz attractor and one is topologically equivalent to the Burke’n Shaw attractor.
